1921-1960
Foster Fuels, Inc. is a family-owned-and-operated business
providing fuel services since 1921. L.H. Foster arranged with
Texaco to become the area's first Texaco jobber and he worked
diligently to fulfill the petroleum needs of the community.
1960-2001
His two sons, L.H. Foster Jr. and Watt Robert (Bobby) Foster,
continued his work and expanded the business by acquiring
other oil jobbers and starting a propane distributorship, growing this division to 4,000 customers with 500,000 gallons storage and
three retail showrooms. During this time, a retail convenience
store was built in 1995. Today, this store is serviced by
Foster Fuels bulk transport division.
2001-PRESENT
Today, Foster Fuels is in its third generation of Foster ownership
under the direction of Watt R. Foster Jr. He and his father,
Watt Robert (Bobby) Foster continue to grow in the petroleum
business by offering first-rate service and sound, competitive
prices. Foster Fuels has narrowed its product focus to petroleum-based heating fuels, diesel and gasoline, as well as propane. Service focus is
bulk petroleum sales and transport, emergency response services,
home, farm and commercial delivery, and specialty fueling
requests. Foster Fuels now delivers close to 50 million gallons
of petroleum annually. All work is guaranteed and backed by
85 years of experience.
