May 2010 - Foster attends Florida Governors Hurricane Conference in Fort Lauderdale, Florida.

April 2010 - Foster participates in quaterly review with Digital Realty Trust, one of our larger emergency customers. Foster presents successes and opportunities to use Foster as their "Fuel Resource". Foster offers goals and visions for continued success.

April 2010 - Foster attends National Hurricane Conference in Orlando, Florida.

January - February 2010 - Foster Fuels Emergency Fuel Service was engaged to provide fueling operations and worked with US Armed Forces for a large scale recovery effort in response to the earthquake in Haiti.

December 2009 - Foster responds to record setting rain/snow fall in the Mid-Altlantic region by delivering generator support for several large national businesses.

May 2009 - Foster reaches an agreement with the largest bank in the U.S. to provide emergency fuel service to sustain their operations during emergency nationwide. Foster will handle all fueling requirements including employee vehicle fueling and building generator support.

April 2009 - Foster completes construction on a 16,000 square feet warehouse to store many of its trucks and supporting equipment that it uses to respond to its guaranteed contract customers.

January - February 2009 - Foster handles federal fueling operations and worked with the national guard for a large scale recovery effort in response to the severe ice storms that affected Arkansas through Kentucky. Response was quick and sustained during harsh conditions helping the recovery mission to be a success.

September - October 2008 – Foster coordinates, operates, and participates in massive simultaneous full service, sustained fueling operations in LA and TX that supplied fuel for first responders to support federal disaster recovery following Gustav and Ike. Foster participates in one of the largest and most successful power restoration efforts in U.S. history.

September 2008 - Foster establishes mobile fueling setup for BP Lubricants to sustain employee vehicle fueling following IKE at its western Louisiana facility. Uninterrupted full service fueling allowed the company to continue their manufacturing operations at this major refinery.

March 2008 - Digital Realty Trust and Foster Fuels enter into an exclusive agreement providing emergency coverage to all of their U.S. Turn-Key Data centerâ„¢ facilities for total fuel management and consulting services as well as guaranteed fuel delivery. Digital Realty Trust solidifies their no downtime guarantee to their customers with a guaranteed emergency fuel contract with Foster Fuels.

June 2006 - Foster completes construction on Phase 1 of a state of the art headquarters and bulk plant facility in Brookneal, VA. The facility has 20,000 square feet of office space with a six bay truck maintenance facility. There is 210,000 gallons of petroleum storage with high tech loading systems to load quick and dispatch to its local and emergency customers. A 120,000 gallon propane storage facility is also located at this site.

August 2005 - June 2006 - Foster coordinates and participates in massive emergency fueling operations following unprecedented string of powerful hurricanes Katrina, Rita, and Wilma in MS, AL, TX, LA, and FL.

September 2004 - Foster responds to western Florida following Jeanne and Ivan restoring communication for millions of people in the region.

September 2003 - Foster crews respond to the destruction of Isabelle on Virginia's east coast and flooding in Richmond, VA.

Prior History Since 1921- Foster has long been an emergency fuel provider to local users. Foster is one of the largest and most reliable distributors in Southern Virginia.

 

Foster has doubled the size of its emergency fleet twice since 2005.
