Hurricanes Katrina and Rita Response
Foster Fuels has been a leader in petroleum supply and related services following hurricanes Katrina and Rita. We have staged fully functional fueling sites throughout the South for thousands of vehicles carrying critical recovery supplies. We have worked closely with federal, state and local governments to provide fuel and related services for the Gulf region. During the most critical times when pipelines were shut down, refineries were not producing, and supply shortage was at its worst, we were able to provide tens of thousands of gallons of fuel to areas that needed it most. Our customers were provided a continuous supply and did not run out one time. Hospitals, military and police convoys, government agencies, supply carrying vehicles, prisons and other critical infrastrucure are examples of customers we have fueled. Throughout this massive and difficult recovery effort, our employees have maintained sites that are safe, efficient, clean and professionally run.
